52 – Question everything

We have blindly learned to follow the 'experts' and not question their authority or ideas on a particular subject. We have outsourced our power and thinking to other people we believe will know better than ourselves. We then follow what they say without rhyme or reason, even if we feel the advice is not helpful.

We need to get back in touch with our inner wisdom—that little voice or 'gut feel' that always looks out for us. We must develop our critical thinking skills if we are to regain our power again.

This week, practice questioning everything you hear, find opposing viewpoints, notice which feels right and makes more sense to you. We have to get out of the mindset that it must also be good for us if everyone else is doing it.

We are all individuals, built differently with thinking styles unique to us. What works for many may not work for us.

As you begin to question everything, you will come to know and understand yourself better, thus paving the way to making better choices for yourself, even if it goes against the grain.

Question everything, think for yourself and regain your power to live as a free-thinking individual.
